Sofitel at Heathrow is perhaps the best luxury hotel for those using Heathrow Airport. The hotel has a covered walkway that takes guests directly to Terminal 5, and a courtesy bus services will take guests from the hotel to terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Heathrow. London is just 21 minutes away by train. The hotel has 605 bedrooms, 27 of which are suites, and 2 bars and 2 restaurants. Should you wish to relax whilst you’re staying here there is a state-of-the-art health spa and gym on site. Parking here is not an issue as there is covered parking available on site, albeit with an extra charge. Deals are available however if you want to leave your car there whilst you fly off for a while.

The hotel itself is very aesthetically pleasing with an impressively luxurious reception area. The rooms are finished to a very high standard; even high-powered businesspeople would not be ashamed to stay here. A Classic Room (the most basic room they offer) contains a queen-sized bed, with all the usual trimmings, right up to the Imperial Suite which offers 3 bedrooms, a view over the runway, living room, dining room and Swarovski Crystal bathroom. All rooms have 110/120V and 220/240V AC sockets, all the usual health and safety features (smoke detectors, sprinklers et cetera), Ethernet connector, safe deposit box, air conditioning, satellite television, and Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer, magnifying mirrors, radio, shower and telephone. Room service is available at all times.
