Everyone knows that Heathrow is one of the busiest airports in Europe. Recently, it opened a new terminal which helps to eases the flow of passengers around the crowded terminals. That’s why it is important to know exactly how to get to the terminals. As in any other country, you can get to the airport by car. If you wake up too late or if you’re afraid that you’d miss the train, it’s best to get to the airport from the M25 and M4 motorways via car, whether this is your own or rented. If you are flying from terminals 1,2 or 3, you have to head towards the Central Area in Heathrow Departures. If you come from the M4, take the exit at Junction 4. If you come from M25 take the exit at Junction 15. After that, you just have to follow the signs to the airport. If you are instead scheduled to fly from terminal 4 or 5, things are much easier because these terminals have their own dedicated entrances.

If you stay in the airport for only few hours it will be cheaper to park your car in the Short Stay car park but if you want to park your car for several days, it works out cheaper overall to park it in the Long Stay car park.
